NANA wants to know........

Many airlines check the kids birth certificate. It's a government rule. There isn't a "grace" period.

She turned one July 22nd...I was just trying to think when I could take her...What about her luggage and the stroller? I am not used to this...I always took the other grandchildren when they were four...If she doesn't have a "seat"...then, how will she able to have her own luggage? And, does a stroller count? Whew!

Only ticketed passengers are entitled to luggage. A lap child is not ticketed, therefore, no luggage (except, I think, a diaper bag). Strollers can be gate-checked and do not count as luggage. Please obtain and complete a gate-check tag and attach it as soon as you get to the gate. Please DON'T wait until it's time to board.

Also please note, while children can fly in the adult's lap until their second birthday, it's safer and more sensible to buy the child a seat.

Ahhh...Good things to know before even preparing for a trip....Maybe it would be best to just take her when she is four....just like I did for the others.. Things have certainly changed for traveling since the others first started going to Disney...Things have changed a lot just in the last few years...for traveling and keep on changing...I have to give those young mothers credit....Diapers, diaper bags, strollers...car seats...sippy cups, several changes of clothing...WHEW!

Thanks for the information!:)
