So I might visit the parks sometime soon and I was wondering if I could bring these really cute nametags I saw on Etsy, they look exactly like CM badges. With that said it's not like I will dress like a tour guide ETC I just wanted to look cute :tink:

Are you prepared to be asked questions every 2 seconds by a park guest?:teeth::teeth:

I would think it could be considered impersonating an employee. Probably nothing will happen unless someone complains.
I would ask at Guest Services before I entered the park

Yeah, that's true

lol...My husband wears a blue shirt shopping at LOWES, and he's stopped at least once or twice with a "Do you work here?":rolleyes1

They give FREE buttons out and you can write your name on it with their sharpie...or the Mickey Ears is designed for your name.

Lol, I would love to answer guest questions though.

When you see them you will find they do not look exactly like CM name tags. Close enough to fool another guest so you will likely get asked "where's the bathroom?" often. But there is no rule against wearing them.

Some true sample questions like:

While standing in Frontierland and a guest asks how to get to the Magic Kingdom (or sometimes Fantasy Island) from here.
While standing near Casey's for other locations and guest asks how to get somewhere in the park, you give a long explanation and they turn around and go the opposite way.
When you explain something and a guest tells you that you must be new as the answer is not correct, all the while wearing your 5 or 10 year pin on your name tag.
Why doesn't Disney provide buses to get to Universal
