Nametags

I was just wondering what goes on CP nametags these days? Our colleges or our hometowns? I thought it was typically our college, but then there was a field to enter my hometown information for my nametag when I accepted my offer.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they ask your hometown on that acceptance page, your college/university is the default on your nametag. While there, you can purchase a new one with your hometown or if you pass a language test you can request your hometown to be on that tag... but typically all CPs have their educational institution listed.

You could try e-mailing the general e-mail but I'm not sure they will do anything. You can order a new nametag from casting for $5 (automatically deducted from your paycheck) and it comes in under two weeks as soon as you get there, though.

Florida puts CP College/Universities on Nametags. California puts Hometowns. They use the same acceptance system - hence why that field is there.

In Florida, if you just go to a Costuming location and tell them you want to "Exchange" your Nametag. They won't charge you a fee when it arrives, but will require you to turn in your other nametag for use as a loaner.

Actually you can choose to have it either way. My school wasn't on their list of schools when I applied so this was a big concern for me. What happens is before you enter your Traditions class, you stand in line and tell a cast member your name so they can check to make sure everything is spelled correctly.. For most people they just had the school listed, but for me they had my town. The lady asked if I wanted it to be just my town or my school - I told her the latter, and had to spell everything out for her. I'm not sure if she asked other CPers this, but I ASSUME you can request to have it say your town or current college instead if this is a concern of yours. I wouldn't worry about it.
