I am going to have two reservations at the same time for two different room sizes. Only one reservation will ultimately be kept and used, but I had to book the rooms due to availability and the booking window. Can my name be listed on both as primary or will that be a problem? I am booking online. I know I have had multiple reservations before until I cancelled one, but how long can I be listed on both or is it not a problem at all?

I don't think that the online system cares but CM's do.

If you are going to cancel later anyway it doesn't matter what name you use. You can always correct the names via email once you find out which reservation is the keeper.

I agree with Bill. Just use someone else as primary if you will need to keep two concurrent reservations for more than a few days.

I have used my DH as primary (usually it's me) when I am trying to get a few nights at 7 months (for a split stay), but don't want to cancel any nights from my existing reservation until the other is totally secured. It just makes me feel better. I once had had a CM make an unwarranted assumption and cancel something I didn't want cancelled.

Online you can book as many reservations as you want with your name only, as long as you have the points, that is.

That didn't stop MS from cancelling one of mine booked like that, though.
