Hi!
We have a trip coming up in november. The DVC is owned by my parents. My brother recently decided to come and so I emailed member services to ask them to add him to the reservation (I am the family disney travel agent so to speak haha). We checked today and they did indeed add him, and he is listed as Adult 1, with the rest of us following behind, 2,3, etc. Are these numbers just numbers to list with, or will they mean something at check in? Everything is still under my dad's name since he is the owner, correct? I just want to be sure that we wont have a mix up with them looking for my dad's name but seeing my brother's. I sure hope this makes sense and thank you for insight!

It does not matter the order they are listed on the reservations. Your dad is still the member. Anyone 18+ can check in the whole group/room as long as they are listed on the reservation.

There is a software problem that screws up the listing of names on the reservations. Your Dad is the owner but your Brother is now the lead name on the reservation. Use your Brothers name when checking in if they have trouble finding your reservation.

Agreed that there is no major problem but you may have to run thru the list of family names at the check in desk for them to locate the reservation. It sounds like your brother's name will be the one the CM will be able to locate.

this is correct. we had a situation where they listed someone first & any adult on the reservation can check in. everyone was arriving at different times so we were not sure who would arrive first, but the cm can check in any adult listed on the reservation, did not have to be the lead name.

When this happened to us, our ME packet went to my brother who had no idea what it was!

And when it happened to us, it was very difficult for me ( owner & planner) to make, modify and cancel any ADR's. Then the thank you postcard went to another person in our party which upset my kids.
