Name your top 3 favorite restaurants at DLP

We are trying to decide where to eat while we are at DLP. This will be our
2nd visit to DLP. The first time we went we only spent one day and night at the park. I want this time to be a little more special. We usually go to WDW and we tend to mostly eat at table severice restaurants. But we do love that Casey's!!! I'm interested in knowing what your favorite restaurants are and why? What makes them special and how good is the food and atmosphere? Also, for those of you who have been to Walt Disney World how do the restaurants compare? Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Top of my list would be:

Blue Lagoon - the setting alone makes a meal here worth it, added to which I had my best ever meal at the park in here.

Lucky Nugget Saloon - Great buffet selection and good interaction with the characters.

In the village Cafe Mickey is very good, nice menu and lots of character interaction, Annette's Diner - great fast food, lots of it, in a fun setting with very reasonable prices. Planet Hollywood we ate here on the weekend, my boys 8 and 12 loved it, loads of memorabilia to look at - very large meals but again reasonably priced.

Hi,

we never really ate at any of the restaurants as it was so so hot when we where their last year. but we did eat at which was great for money portions etc Annettes Dinner and would most deffinatly eat there this year again. Also the wee cafes where lovely mainly the ones that sold the lovely french toasties there where mmmm.

We did eat at a self service buffet in the main street bit and it was awful and the service was terrible along with the food so never again and the prices where very ott but hey lol ... adds tae the fun i suppose ...

To be honest I think all the cafes/restuarants are good....we were never out of them cause we were so frozen Loved Annettes Diner for snacky sort of food and it was really good money wise.
Does anyone else forget the names of the restuarants they went in or is it just me? Honestly I reckon we tried out most of them but can't remember what they were called although I know we haven't done Cafe Mickey yet but that is definately getting done next time because of what I've been reading on here...it sounds brill

Just got back from DLP - April 2-4. None of the places in the park were really memorable. We just ate wherever was close by when we got hungry. Burgers, chicken, hot dogs ... typical park fast food.
In Disney Village, we ate at Cafe Mickey, Annettes and the Rainforest Cafe. We loved the food at Rainforest Cafe, and would recommend Cafe Mickey for seeing the characters.

What about the restaurant with Cinderella's coach outside. Has anybody eaten there? It looks like a beautiful restaurant. Is the food good or is it overpriced? TIA

That's Auberge de Cendrillon, it's a buffet starter and dessert and you choose a main course, it's a beautiful restaurant, quite grown up I felt despite the Cinderella theming, the crockery is exquisite.
I enjoyed the starters and the desserts but not my main course, the whole reason I booked this restaruant was for us to try the Cinderella Slipper which turned out not be available that day.
The boy's had uncooked burgers in here too, have since learnt to request them well done.
It's not on my list of favourites.

1....The Blue Lagoon POTC cant believe we havent discovered this restaurant earlier is lovely...we had Ostrich Steak & sweet potato fries mmmmmmm

2... The Lucky Nugget...another undiscovered for us...fantastic food selection and beautifully themed restaurant...characters were great too.

3... The Plaza Gardens...fantastic interaction with characters for our DD and a great selection of food with the buffet, the only reason its number 3 is because the other two are better themed IMO.
