I was a teenybopper and saw the Bay City Rollers many times. There I admit it  ! Later my best friend married one of them and I was in the wedding, which was a hugely weird experience! Then there are bands who shoulda coulda woulda been famous but I don't know what happened. Included in that brilliant list are most definatley 20/20! Spell it just like that, do yourself a favor and look them up! Great pop music that we loved to listen to every weekend at the clubs in Hollywood, CA!

My list in the order I remembered them...
The Babys
The Pretenders
Tom Petty
U2 x4
Travis - waiting for these guys to come around again!
Athlete
Rod Stewert - includes the night we snuck in to the Cow Palace outside San Francisco, CA! Such cool memories!
ELO
Stray Cats
The Bee Gees
Andy Gibb
Elton John - illigal I know but young and daring we snuck into the Hollywood Bowl- my friend Yvonne going over the fence and crawling through the bushes first...then we listened to the "birdie sound" she made which was to signal the all clear, yet all it does was signal the laughing fits which followed it!
Code Blue with Dean Chamberlain - local and brilliant brilliant brilliant!
Motley Crew - saw these in the clubs only.Couldn't really avoid them actually!
The Police
Eddie Money
Billy Idol - lots of times at the Roxy in Hollywood
Duran Duran- a few times
The Cars - at least 3 times
The Alarm - opened for U2
Guns and Roses - clubland only
Van Halen -only clubs
Quiet Riot with Randy Rhoads x10 -clubs again, mostly the Starwood in Hollywood.
Cheap Trick - for New Years eve one year, front row!
Stevie Nicks and all acts at the US Festival - all tired we watched Stevie from afar while warming our hands over a bond fire
David Bowie x3
Beach Boys
The Cult
The Stepmothers
Ch3
20/20
The Romantics
Thompson Twins- both these and Sparks we saw quite a few times at Six Flags MM
Sparks
Bryan Adams -opened for U2 I think one year
Phil Seymour - oh my another great one

plus many more, if only I could remember them all!

For my first rock concert I went to see Rod Stewart back in 1989. What an amazing show!! He played for 3+ hours and when we left around midnight(I had work early the next morning, bummer) he was still playing strong and kicking soccer balls into the audience. I have been to many concerts, but very few have had such an infectious energy as that one.

Rod Stewart
Bon Jovi
Poison
The Black Crowes x 2
U2 x 3
Pearl Jam x 3
Tom Petty x 5
Kiss
Aerosmith x 3
Foo Fighters
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Fuel x 2
Jethro Tull
Jonny Lang
Pink Floyd
Sting
Howard Jones
Sonic Youth
The Who
Robert Plant
The Rolling Stones

And there are many more that I just can't remember right now.
