Name that Lighthouse!!

A few different shots of my mystery lighthouse... not much of a mystery, though...

For those who may not know. Cape Hatteras Light in the Outer Banks of NC.

Nope. A few hundred miles too far north.

Those shots are actually the St. Augustine Lighthouse in St. Augustine, Florida. :thumbsup2

We aren't exactly known for our lighthouses in spite of all the coastline. Perhaps that is because so many of the older lighthouses were built on sites that have since been reclaimed by the sea (the St. Augustine light was originally a few hundred yards further east and is now underwater) so the remaining are mostly newer, less "pretty" buildings...

Here's a scan of one I took a little over 10 years ago. It's not far from where my wife and kids are right now.

The lighthouse I had planned on showing has already been shown, but thought I'd post this shot of it... sorry for the blown out sky...

The red lantern room and keepers quarters so close to the lighthouse should have tipped me off on this one. The lantern room at Cape Hatteras is black the the keepers quarters are not as close to the tower. It too no longer sits in its original location.

Little Sable Point in MI?

I may be wrong on this. We visited in 2004 and have a scan also. The color of the tower is slightly different in our scan. Though the basic structure and setting is very similar.

Here is our scan:
