Name some cars that get over 30mpg

Well, I do need more seating, but is your friend in Europe? The cars in the USA rate around 40mpg and I have two friends with them and they say they get around 40mpg. The European models get higher.

No, he lives in Knoxville, TN. He does drive about 30 miles to work each way which is mostly highway

I have an '07 Hyundai Elantra and I get about 35-37 mpg.
The new ones get 40!

Great little car, I have had no issues with it and it comes with a 100,000 mile warranty.

My husband just got a 2011 Hyundai Eleantra Limited and he can get 41 mpg highway. He travels 100 miles a day and is saving $180 a month in gas and if gas prices keep falling can save even more. He looked at every car there is to look at that gets good gas milage and he choose this car because for the price it came fully loaded. There is a lot of leg room in the back and has a huge trunk. And IMO it looks more sporty than the others, not so plain looking.

My S just bought a 2012 Ford Focus. Right off the bat, he is getting 34mpg, it will probably get better after it has more miles on it.

It's really nice, drives nice and has good pickup. He drove a lot of cars before deciding on this.
