Name one thing you love about your pet!

I love how she is always so happy to see me. Whether I have been gone all day or for 5 minutes. It just makes you feel loved.:)

 I just love every inch of her, Maltese, her name is PRECIOUS. :hyper: DISNEYNANA

I love the way my dog always follows someone around the house, because she always loves giving her attention to someone.

Our dogger is a great bed warmer! We fight over her sometimes 'jazzy - my side of the bed!' 'no jazzy! go keep my feet warm!'

that and the fact that she will only play with Disney stuffed animals! :)

I love that she is a crazy, feisty little terrier! She has a great personality and loves to see people. Oops! That is more than one thing.

It's hard to name just one thing, but if I had too...I would say that the best thing about both of my dogs (my Bouvier and my Beagle) they both LOVE my children and would protect them with their lives. I know this, I have seen it.
I wasn't so suprised with my Bouvier (Titan), but my Beagle (Daisy)...I didn't know she had it in her.

"All We Need Is Love"

I'd love to see pics.....:D Bouviers are so neat....:D

I like sparky's tongue....even when his mouth is closed, his little
tongue sticks out! (like Mr. Winkles!)

I love when we get home & she bolts for a toy to put into her mouth so she can cry/talk to us! We love her so much.

How he always knows how to make me smile and when I'm sick he'll lay right on my feet or next to wherever I'm laying all day

My boxer Dudley -- I love how he comes up to me and does the "boxer lean." I think it's his way of showing affection (along with those stinky kisses).

My lab/pit Buddy -- I love how he knows when it's time to go in his kennel, how he lays his head on my feet when we go to bed, how he licks my feet (I call him "toe-licker"), and the way he moans and rolls over when I scratch him on the chest. He'll also nibble on my ear when he's being really sweet. That was more than one, wasn't it?

My cat Cowie is mostly annoying, but I like how he rubs his face on my head.

My cat Grayson -- it's funny how he sleeps on top of the cabinets. It's so much easier for me to list things about my cats that annoy me. :p

I have too many pets to list them all individually. But, to name a few things:

Grover- "the big old red man" (golden retriever)- his gentle nature and kind soul. He is the most expressive, intelligent animal I have ever been blessed to know.

Comet- "my shadow"(cocker spaniel)- his undying loyalty and endless neediness...he was abandoned before we adopted him...it is so hard to believe someone could do this to him. He is such a socially dependent animal...all I can imagine is how incredibly sad and lost he felt for whatever time he was on his own. That truly breaks my heart. (I also suspect he was beaten, he still cowers on occasion, even though he is pampered like a baby. Much less than when we adopted him, but he still has some serious fear issues)

Zoe- "miz thang" (cat)- her total belief that SHE is queen and we are lucky to be in her presence....what a faker!!!
... she cannot mask her joy when we come through the door...

The leopard geckos...I know, they are lizards, but they are fascinating creatures...they watch my every move while I am in the room and I swear one of them is convinced, if she had the opportunity, she could "get' my golden retriever...she actually stalks him....it is so funny...

Such a sweet thread...

It IS hard to pick one thing but I'll just mention the things that touch my heart:

Aaliyah: She is VERY shy and I love the way she lets me protect her. Her eyes just stare at me with that "I trust NO ONE BUT YOU" look... it tears my heart out.

Meeko: He is a usual HOODLUM but he just loves us so much. He's an eternal BABY!

Xena: She is the ultimate LADY. She runs the household and always looks like she's thinking. I've never met a friendlier, KINDER animal, and she's breathtakingly beautiful, and seems to KNOW IT.. :p

Max: He is my miracle. Everything about him is special. He loves all of the others and they all love him. He has a way about him that is just spiritual and pure love, that's why I named him Masimillian Miracle.

With all that I've been through this past year, my furbabies were right there. When I cried, Xena would touch my face and pat my tears away. Max would come from nowhere when I was done and put both of his paws on both sides of my neck and hug me. Aaliyah will lay her head on me and knead me like I was her mother, and Meeko, well, he'd probably knock something over and ruh, but I still love him!

Thanks, Blondie. Just talking about them makes me smile.

One thing, nah can't be done.

Maxie is incredibly smart and very kind. She knows when a little child is afraid of her and will do her best to make sure and not scare them.
She was a mom to every animal I ever rescued. Dog or cat, it didn't matter. She welcomed them and taught them that they were safe and how to play. She instinctively knows what to do.
It doesn't matter how big or tiny, she takes care of them.
She taught a puppy how to climb the back stairs. She taught 5 week old kittens how to play with her and not to run around in the house.
She's just amazing. :)

What a nice thread to read!

I love how happy my dog almost always is. No matter we do with them, he's thrilled.

Go for a walk, Max? He grabs his leash and runs for the door. Are you hungry, Max? Goes to his bowl and sits there, tail pounding the floor. Want to go for a ride in the car, Max? Forget it--he gets ecstatic over car rides.

Everything thrills this animal. Gotta love it!

Maggie, our almost 5 year old Yorkie, is always happy to see us and anyone else that walks through the door. She's very much the lap dog...except at night when she's really tired, then she goes to bed (which is our bed). She's very sneaky and is always trying to get into things which always makes us laugh!

Milo, our 2 1/2 year old Corgi, is just silly. He has come such a long way since we got him in January 2002. When we first got him, we called him "statue dog" because he would just sit there, afraid of everything. Now, he's a 40 pound lap dog...or at least he tries to be a lap dog! He's also gotten a lot better with people that come visit...he doesn't run and hide anymore.

Both are great with DS, which I am so very thankful for!

We have a cat and I absolutely love the way she cocks her head when she is being inquisitive. It is just so cute - her fur looks so fluffy and she has this little innocent kitten look to her (even though she's over a year old now).

My cocker spaniel practically hugs me. He just loves me to death.
My maltese is always at my feet no matter where I'm at, whether I am eating at the table, sitting on the couch, typing on the computer, she is always there and I love that.
I love how playful my cat is. She is always ready to play whenever my kids want her to.
