Name on AP Reservation

I have reserved a GV room at the Poly 3-17 July with an AP code. My name is on the confirmation slip from Disney, but it is my father's which appears on the letter that comes with the AP voucher. Can either of us activate the AP? I want to try and avoid any problems at check-in.

Are you both going to the Poly? Do you both have AP? sorry but I just got lost when I read what you had written.

Sorry for the confusion. We are both staying in the same room and only the person who activates the voucher will have an AP.

You can activate the AP pass yourself. Since the ressie is your name, you need be the one with the activated AP pass. THe voucher can basically be used by anyone regardless where it was mailed, so you must be careful with it. Since it is lost, there is no way for Disney to track it and again, anyone can activate it.
