What's the name and phone number of the pizza place that delivers that starts with a "G"?
(I think). Everyone raves about it!

How large are the pizzas (to feed 4 adults?)

Thanks fellow DVC'ers!

I believe it's Giordano's. Don't know the phone#, but they have a website with the phone #s.HTH

I haven't eaten there, but they have deep dish pizzas that look pretty filling!

FWIW it seems a love it or leave it kind of place. Two of my colleagues won't eat any other food for 2-3 week trips to Chicago, the rest of us don't like it at all and don't understand the fuss.

I found the pasta tasteless and gluey. And I don't like American pizza anyway, just Italian pizza ie the very thin almost see thru crust with simple toppings.

And yes, I have given it a few tries.

It's a personal taste thing. :crazy2: :earseek:  :scared1:

Here's the #: 407-239-8900 that's the one of Vineland/Apoka Blvd right outside DTD. Check out the website that pizza looks yummy.

Oh wow! I had to make 2 trips to Chicago this summer to drop off/pick up my son at Northwestern for camp and we stumbled onto Giordano's on our first trip. It was so good I went back on the 2nd trip! Their stuffed spinach pizza is unbelievable! Do they only deliver to certain resorts? My mouth is watering just thinking about the possibilities

someone else had mentioned how good they were so I had bookmarked their website a while back, dont know if I will try them out while I am down there this october, but I know I will in Jan

Stay away from their Italian grinder, sub, what ever you call them.
It is pretty hard to screw up these sandwiches, but they managed.

Husband is a pizza lover, thought theirs was 'ok'.

Word of warning!! Do not order pizza from Port Orleans!! Even the kids wouldn't eat it. 'nuff said.

Giordano's is the best Chicago style pizza I have eaten. It is all thick and gooey with cheese .... mmmm. I have not had any from the one in Orlando, only in Chicago.

If you don't like thick pizza's you won't like it. I think they may have "thin" crust pizza's but I have never had them.

They DO have a thin crust, but again not to my liking ie too much topping. I will admit that I have yet to meet any American pizza that I like.

However, my colleagues who normally like pizza were very unimpressed, with the exception of the two who eat it nightly....
