If you could add a Disney theme ride to the park, what would it be and why? I personally would like to see more fantasy rides. They have Peter Pan, Snow White, etc...but why not a Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella one? The fantasy rides are my personal favorites. I doubt a Bambi would ever be put in because of the sad storyline. I would just like to see more of them and don't know why Disneyland doesn't make more. :)

I would like to see the Everest ride in DL. I saw the clip of it on the disney website and it looks like fun! That and I would like the Indiana Jones that goes upside down. :goodvibes

I would love to see "Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress" return to Disneyland. Or "Hall of Presidents"

I don't know if there is room for Everest, but that would be nice.

I would like Mickey's Philharmonic at Disneyland, and would love it if Carousel of Progress were returned home.

I'm with JayS on this one.Granted it 'was' kinda cheesy, but it was "cool". I LOVED the mini city on the top floor. :thumbsup2

As far as rides that already exist, I would vote for Mickey's Philharmagic. For a new ride, I would love to see a Beauty and the Beast dark ride in Fantasyland. I love this movie and I don't think it has enough representation in the parks.

I would love to see Philharmagic come our way, but I have to disagree with Stitch, even my easily entertained 5 year old said it stunk, and literally it does.

I wouldn't mind a Star Tours update and I think they could really do something special with Toy Story.

I heard that they were working on a 2nd destination...I hope so!

I agree with the Mickey's Philharmagic and the Hall of Presidents. I think sometimes I like these shows more than the rides!

When they first put Buzz Lightyear in WDW, I thought of a similar Woody attraction in Frontierland, more western themed along with the Woody Roundup show that was in TS2.

I also thought about a Mermaid or Nemo attraction using the lagoons, where the ride starts out above water, then drops down in underwater tubes that allow you to see the characters. I'm a big fan of Bedknobs and Broomsticks and had orignally thought of the lagoon for this for the Isle of Naboomboo sequence.

I think it is ashame that they simply filled in the 20,000 lagoon in WDW. That definitely is not imagineers best resolution for a resource that already existed.

I think another attraction that would be welcomed could be based on Mary Poppins. I know that Disney thinks that young kids don't remember the old movies, but this one is definitely a classic and most kids have seen it or should.

IMHO it seems like dark rides don't do well outside of Fantasyland. For example, WDW's Pooh ride has fastpass as does Disneyland, but we have never experienced long lines in DL's Pooh. I think they need to be among other similar rides, like in Fantasyland to be successful.

Plus the Fantasyland attractions are classics to Disney parks and to older movies in most cases.

SuperStar limo was a bust at DCA and time will tell if Monsters Inc will be the same. Buzz is very successful, because of the interaction aspect of the ride.

I agree with a previous poster that Star Tours needs to be updated. It is based on intergalactic travel. I think they should take us to other places. They have 6 vehicles....they could offer both the original version and the old version....They just need to create a new version.

Honey I Shrunk the audience is really dated and needs to be replaced. The tricky things about the movies are that they can become outdated if they have real-life actors or something more timeless. I think Philharmagic in WDW will be popular for a very long time. The Muppet movie is a little dated but is still a good show for example.

I also think ToonTown is a great location for more attractions that adults can do with the kids. Roger Rabbit is great but a long walk for just one ride. I think in Frontierland if they could have kept the Bear Jamboree and added Pooh that section would be more popluar too. Not everyone wants to get wet at Splash Mountain at the beginning of the day and I'm not sure of the height restriction.

Oh well enough said. I would just like to see imagineers test themselves with simple but fun attractions. They don't always have to have the latest technology or height restrictions to be popular.

I would also like to see a Beauty and the Beast ride. I would love for the castle to "be" something again since they closed the Sleeping Beauty walk through. I would like to see them do something with the empty and ugly motor boat cruise canals and the Peoplemover tracks. I agree that ToonTown could use one more ride.

And I would like Disney to have a water park as well. And one more Disney hotel, a value one.

Spaceship Earth or the American Adventure. are two of my non CA faves....but there isn't a great place to put them....so I also vote for Mickey's Philharmagic.

I was thinking more about this and wanted to add that I would like Disneyland to have more unique rides. That is the way to get more people to come visit DL instead of WDW and fall in love with the charm of the place. ;)

I heard that the DL submarine area is going to be Nemo ride. Don't know if that's true, but a darn good idea IMHO.

I think we're due for a Beauty and the Beast *something*.

From an available space situation...there aren't too many places in Disneyland to put something (without closing an existing attraction). The one place that comes to mind is the area tucked in around the Autopia that used to be the Boat ride.

On the other hand, down in California Adventure, behind Tower of Terror is a parking lot...I'd heard that they were planning to expand CA by using that space. If they do that, any thoughts about how the location within CA limits the attraction? (You wouldn't put the PeopleMover in Frontierland, what restrictions exist with the location in mind? Or better yet, what possibilities are there?)
