At least at OKW, there are jacuzzi tubs in the 1 BRs that are big enough to 2!

Lots of good suggestions on this thread!

DH and I agree that Epcot is a romantic place after dark. Little white lights twinkling in trees, music, fountains, the lagoon--it's just gorgeous!

Free: ride the boat from Epcot to the Boardwalk, the Swan/Dolphin, and MGM, and back, in the evening. The sunset on the water, the lights glowing from the hotels and the Boardwalk--divine!

Buy a glass of champagne at the kiosk in France, then rush over to England to har the British Invasion. You'll be transported!

Walk along the beach or sit in a bench near the Yacht Club/Beach Club lagoon (right outside of Epcot).

Watch the fountain that's choreographed to music (near Spaceship Earth).

Take a romantic stroll around the Boardwalk and find a swing on the beach to sit and enjoy the evening. Maybe then take a stroll back into Epcot and get something from the Bakery in France, and watch Illuminations.

Taking a walk along the Seven Seas Lagoon from the MK entrance toward the GF is lovely at night. The water softly lapping over the sand, the lights from every direction - the peacefulness, the solitude - oh, trust me, it's heavy duty romantic.

good idea especially during wishes

Every night, there's a campfire at Fort Wilderness where they do a sing-a-long and play old movies. It's for kids and families, but we like to go and snuggle against each other (it gets chilly at night), eat roasted marshmallows,

Do you have to be staying at FW to do this?

I like sitting on the beach at WL, Poly, or GF to watch the nighttime Electric Water Pageant.

My dh & I will be hopefully getting some adult alone time while at WDW this fall with our two children (inlaws will be there for 1st half of trip) and wondering what romantic ideas have people done that didn't cost and arm and a leg - lets say under $50.00. I am planning a surprise cake to be delivered to our room but wondering what else we could do inexpensively to celebrate...we had our honeymoon at WDW in 99 and LOVE all things Disney...so help me plan & surprise...

If money is not a problem, you can rent the Sea Ray 'Grand 1' Yacht and go on a Fireworks Cruise, it starts at about $350 an hour, but wow..

Collect a kiss in front of every ride/attraction. Just find another fun looking couple, explain what you're doing, and have them snap the picture for you.

We are already planning this for our arrival night with the kids (so we don't have to use park passes the 1st day) and it is FREE to any Disney resort guest.

I called WDW and the campfire/movie with Chip N Dale is booked/scheduled 5 days out (as to time and what movie is played) and to call 407-824-2727 as they would have that information. I contacted that # and was told that currently (August) it starts at 8:00 but during later months it does bump up to 7:00pm as it gets dark earlier. They suggested I call right before we head down or once we check in to contact them again as they will have the up to date hours and what movies they will be playing. The singalong is approximately 40 minutes long with the movie following.

Copied over from allears.net:
Go to Fort Wilderness for the campfire/sing-along, nightly at 7pm behind the Meadow Trading Post. Movie begins approximately 7:40pm. A Disney classic movie follows the sing-along. Chip and Dale usually make an appearance. The Fort Wilderness staff will provide a campfire; bring your marshmallows, hot dogs and sticks if you have them. If not, marshmallows and sticks are available for purchase at $2 for 2 sticks and plenty of marshmallows; $5 for a s'more kit. The movie shown is different each night of the week. In the event of inclement weather, a "Porch Jam" sing-a-long will take place at the Ol' Meadow Swimmin' Hole. Movie & Sing-a-Long free of charge. Note: All movies & characters are outside! Campfire Show is held nightly if weather permits.

PS - there will be no more "souveniers" in this family...had that taken care of after our DD3 was born because of 2 high risk pregnancies and could not attempt anymore...so we can "do" what we want and not have that issue on our minds.

We like to get coffee or a glass of wine and watch the fountain by Spaceship Earth. At night it is so beautiful.

My husband surprised me on our honeymoon by bringing some napkins from our wedding - he snuck them into the various places we ate dinner, and they served our beverages on our own napkins. The first place (Victoria & Alberts) in which this occured, I was blown away. Then, again, I was pretty darn surprised when it happened twice. After that, it was something that made me smile each time.

Of course, this is from a man who says, "Thanks for Marrying Me" every single night before we go to bed!

Other ideas - pretend it is your honeymoon, and act like it! Everyone loves a happy couple. Hold hands, snog, and celebrate your love!

I'm surprised no one has suggested this one yet. Take an evening stroll around the lake at Coronado Springs. It's quiet with pretty scenes/lights/fountains.
