Nalgene's in the parks

Is it okay to bring these? Anyone have any experience with Nalgene's/water bottles?

Of course it's okay to bring your own waterbottle.

However, the problem will be the fact that the water is totally horrible... so if you plan to fill it in the park you're going to be drinking nasty water.

I've been told that water bottles with built in filters, however, make the water quite drinkable...
