Let me preface this by saying that I have had a manicure ONCE in my life. I was going on a cruise several years ago and I decided that I wanted fashionable fingernails. I had those fake fingernails put on which were fine for the cruise but when I got home I hated them. I was getting carpal tunnel symptoms for over flexing my wrists to use the keyboard. I spent an hour soaking off the 'whatever they were' and 3 months growing back my seriously soften real nails. What options are there now for manicures. I would love to grow my own nails out, I bought some Nail Tek therapy II because since I tore my rotator cuff, I will be working a lot less in the yard. Are there tips? or nail strengthers, etc. I am really out of the loop on nail care.

When I'm growing my nails I keep a clear coat on them and keep them filed smooth. Mine are hard and grow well so I don't take or use any supplements.

I use the Sally Hanson nail products and I am very happy with them and can really see a difference.
I use the nail strengthing cream and whatever polish it suggests with the cream.
My one time ugly nails are looking good, if I do say so myself.
