n00b scrapbooker here!

Hello everybody! I am getting very into scrap booking, I bought tons of paper and decals and the whole nine yards, I am actually quite overwhelmed! I'm just kinda trying to get some ideas on what to make my Disney pages look like, any bit would help, pictures, or descriptions please!

Welcome -- you'll have lots of fun!!! It is very addictive.

If you want to see some finished pages look under "Scrapping with Swap items" under the Swap section of the Creative Community Boards. Another thing would be to look at the "Swap Photo Gallery" also in the Swap section of the Creative Community Boards. If you look at the "page" swaps you will see pages instead of elements.

When I first started I read all the tutorials under the sticky thread "Scrapbooking: Scrap Sites/Tips/Techniques/Instructions/FAQS" (at the top of the Scrapbooking Board.

Start with one subject and don't get overwhelmed. A two week Disney trip might be too much on the first try, but a day at one water park is an easier target.

look here for Layouts. Don't let the pages overwhelm you though. Some are very complex but some are very simple.

My first suggestion is don't buy anymore stuff!!! LOL
Seriously though, to much stuff can bog you down. Start with your photos and decide how you want to do your album. Like disney, do you want to do by park or in chronological order?

Sort your pictures into layouts, most do a 2 page spread. then shop your stash for elements and paper. Kit each spread into 2 1/2 gallon ziploc bags (hefty brand) and you'll be supremely organized right out of the gate.

Okay, so I have to admit that I had no clue what n00b was until my husband was watching the World of Warcraft South Park episode. I guess I do not get out on the internet much!

Welcome to this section of the boards. We have lots of fun. Besides what Bernard said, do a google search for scrapbooking sketches, those can really jumpstart your creativity.

agree with BAMB about getting things when you need them....your stuff will multiply on its own if your not careful its hard to do though.

enjoy scrapping its a wonderful way to preserve your memories!
