Ok all you experts--my brother is going to WDW TOMORROW! He is hoping to trade his 7 day MYW ticket, with park hopper options and 5 "extras" in for a premium annual pass. Obviously, he is expecting to pay the difference in price. Question: is this for sure possible, where do you suggest he do it, and will it be confusing for him?
He's 21 and this is his first trip to WDW without family. He is taking his girlfriend for the week of spring break. But, we go about 2-3 times a year, so a PAP makes the most sense for all of us. He didn't get one with the rest of us last year because he didn't think he'd be there as often as we were planning.

Any help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks fellow DISers!

Bump....leaving tomorrow, need some help!

Yes he can do it. Take the MYW ticket and photo ID to any Guest Relations location at the theme parks or DTD. They will handle the transaction there. If the ticket has not yet been used, it shouldn't be confusing at all. He will get credit for the entire amount of the ticket applied toward the PAP.

Just an FYI for you -- if he bought the ticket from any place other than Disney, he will only receive credit for the actual amount of the ticket price he paid -- and not what they are selling the ticket for at the present.

In other words -- if he bought his ticket from AAA instead of Disney -- Disney would know that he paid $XXX.XX for his ticket from AAA and not the $XXX.XX that they are currently charging for the same ticket.

Hope that makes sense.
