MYW tickets...adding a day while on property?

Hello,

Some friends are going to Disney and are driving home. They want to get four day tickets, but they think they may wanna add a 5th day if they're not too tired from the touring.

Is it pretty easy to do that at the rate difference between a four and five day or do you have to pay single day ticket price?

They can add on a day at a Ticket Window or Guest Relations before Day #4 ends.

Yes - you can upgrade a ticket until it is used. It will be $15 +/- per ticket depending on the type for the extra day.

One reason to purchase the 5 day in advance would be the ability to make FP+ in advance - in which case even if they tour 1/2 day at $15 it may be worth it.

Days can't be added to the Salute promotional tickets. (Edit: This year, anyway. Next year will have 4 and 5 day options so it could be possible then.)

This is helpful. We also have 4 day tickets but let's say we enter the park on day 4 (all days now used) and then towards the end of the day we decide we want to Go another day. We can upgrade to the 5th day while still in the park? For some reason I thought we would have to upgrade before entering the park on the 4th day.

You're good until at least the end of the "operating day". Meaning at least one park is still open. (Might even be able to go even later at Disney Springs, but I wouldn't be confident in that.)

You can upgrade while in the park before you exit for the last time on Day #4. Guest Relations in the park will still be open even after the park officially closes.
