If you buy a MYW base ticket, with NO park hopper option, can you leave one park, and go to another park, and use a second day on your ticket. So, if you have a 2 day ticket, with no PH option, can you go to MK in the morning, and then go to Epcot in the afternoon, and use up both days on your MYW ticket?

Yep...don't know why you would want to pay >$100 for 1 day at the parks...but its your 2 days....use them when you want.

It would ne cheaper to buy a 1 day MYW with hopper privaleges than a 2 day pass and use both on 1 day.

Actually, we were thinking about buying 7 day base tickets so that we could park hop twice during our 5 day stay. For 3 adults and 2 children, it is $130 cheaper for 7 day base tickets, than for 5 day park-hopper tickets.

So will they let us into the second park on the same day?

I don't think the idea is to buy for one day. Buying a 5 day ticket is only a little more than a 4 day ticket, and would be far cheaper than a park hopper if you only wanted to hop one day, and were only at WDW for 4 days.

While some posts have said you can do this, several other posts have said emphatically that you can only use each ticket once a day. So if you don't have a hopper, you can not use your extra days for a second park entry that same day. I tend to believe that this is so, as Disney would not have priced its tickets this way if you could. -John

Actually, you CANNOT do this. The computer system is set up to reject a non-park hopping ticket that someone tries to use in a second park on the same day.

From allearsnet.com FAQ on tickets:

Am I allowed to use two days off of my MYW Base ticket (non-hopping) if I decide I want to go to a second park on the same day as the first?

No you are not. The tickets are sold and the computer system is based on the number of days you have, not the number of park visits. Once you have used a non-park hopping ticket at any park, the computer system will not let you use it at another park on the same day.

No, you can't - but why would you want to anyway? A two day adult base ticket costs $126.74 with tax; a one day adult park hopper costs costs $100.91.

Yes, as others have mentioned, you will get bounced when you try to enter the second park.

If you think about it, it's not hard to figure out why. A 10-day base ticket is only $10 more than a 7-day base ticket. If you could spend only $10 for hopping privileges on 3 days, it would be a pretty big loophole.
