MYW Ticket question

I have an AP, but in order to purchase the new MYW package with dining I bought a 1 day base MYW ticket.

I think I read here before that I can use my AP as my admission into the parks and just hold onto my Key to the World Card to use my base ticket sometime in the future.

Is this right?

Yes you can and should hold the MYW ticket for the future. You will need to be extra careful not to put it in the park turnstiles since you need to carry it for use at the restaurants.
