With a Magic Your Way Base Ticket, we can go to the MK in the morning, go back to the hotel for nap, then go back to the MK in the afteroon/early evening, right? I know it's one park per day with the base ticket, but I want to make sure I can come and go in the same day and not have it take another day off my ticket.

Yes its one park per day. I used the MYW plan in Aug. We came and went with no problem. No extra days were used, which was a good thing; it allowed us to break the heat and relax in the pool then go back for dinner.

Yes you can, just make sure that you get your hand stamped on the way out.The card reader in the ticket machine tells the CM where the card was used that day.

Last I heard with the biometric scans, handstamps are no longer needed.

is this for sure..i hope so cause don't know how many times i almost forgot to get that dumb stamp...except i thought we did have to get it with an ap ( in 04 with bioscan) since they want to know that you used it in a park or something like that.

This if from the FAQ section of allearsnet.com:

If I have a MYW Park Hopper Pass which allows me to enter and re-enter any park, do I need to get a hand stamp? For example, went to MK in the morning and Epcot at night. Did I really need to get a MK hand stamp since I have unlimited access with the pass?

For years, the hand stamp helped WDW control the use of the pass. The hand stamp proved that the person with the hand stamp had actually been inside a park. You had to *exit* a park to get a hand stamp and you had to *enter* a park to *exit*. Therefore the person with the hand stamp proved that they have actually been inside a park and hopefully proves that they have paid admission.

WDW doesn't care what type of ticket you have as long as you have a park-hopping ticket or are reentering the same one day park you were in earlier. Now MYW photo-ID's and finger-scanning tickets don't need hand stamps because they have another way of proving that *you* used the ticket. They can safely assume that no other person could use your ticket.

Hand stamps will still be used at Pleasure Island, the water parks, DisneyQuest and the Wide World of Sports.

The stamps must be gone. I did not need a stamp in Aug. The Finger scan is
the new deal now.
