MYW Ticket question

We usually get AP tickets, but this year we are getting MYW (no expiration) passes in advance.
If we buy MYW (no expiration) passes in advance then one member can't go on the trip, is there a time limit in which her pass has to be activated or will it be good until she actually gets the chance to activate it (like next year or the year after as an example)?

It'll be good until she starts to use it. You don't need the non-expiration option for that. The expiration clock starts running from first use, not purchase, so if she would use the whole ticket on one trip, she'd be fine without non-expiry. You could also skip the non-expiry now if she can't go on this trip and she can add it later or not, depending on how long her future trip will be.

There are some special tickets that may expire after a year, but normal MYW tickets won't. :)

Thanks.
We were getting the non-exp option since we don't know exactly how many days we will be able to use and don't want to waste days or have to buy more days.
