I booked a MWY Package at WL for Dec 6 - 13 with 7 day hopper and dining(4 Adults, 2 children).

If the free dining is extended til then but the room rates do not come down. Can I purchse AP for all, since we will probably go back again within a year, to ge AP rate for room and purchase a 1 day park ticket for all to get the free dining.

Does this make sense and is it worth it??

No, in order to make it work you have to pay rack rate for your entire length of stay but can purchase just a one day ticket to get the meal for free.

But you can't have the free dining and an AP room rate.
