If I go to WDW for five days and buy the five day pass without the "no expiration" option and end up only going three days to the parks that trip, can I take my pass to the guest services desk on check out day and pay the $35 to make the remaining 2 days no expiration???

Thanks.

Yes, you absolutely can do that.

Like you said though, the caveat is that you do have to pay for non-expiration based on the ORIGINAL number of days purchased.

It is $35 whether you buy a 5 day, 7 day or 10 day pass so if you want to do that just go like you said and pay the $35. If you end up using all of the days within the 14 days allowed then you will not have wasted the $35 so don't add it until you have to since it is the same price either way.

Actually, non-expiration cost is based on the number of days of your pass.

2 and 3 day passes cost $10, 4 day passes cost $15, 5 passes are $35, 6 day passes are $45, 7 day passes are $55 and 10 day passes are $100 to add the non-expiration option.

Right but if the OP is buying a 5 day pass it is $35 whether it is bought in the beginning of using it or at the end?

Thanks, I was not aware that the 10 day passes were so much more.

Thanks so much guys. I thought I would be able to do this. Funny thing was, when I was writing this question, I glanced down at my paper and looked at the price for park hopping option, so I thought it was a flat $35 fee too! But I understand that you pay the fee for the original days purchased.

Thanks SnackyStacky for answering all these questions for us. I'm just liking these MYW passes more and more every day. For us they work great, I've always bought 7-day PHP, ( in between our trips, when our budget would allow) and right before they were discontinued, you could get them for $320 at ticketmania. Now I can get a 10 day premium/no exp. MYW pass for $379, that's 3 more days and 1 more plus for $59, and now it includes DisneyQuest!! :jumping1:
