My thoughts on this new dining package are mixed. Since I have both an AP and am a new DVCer, I am not eligible to use this plan. However as I see it, to get the most out of the dining plan, you would need to plan your days around where you wanted to eat rather than what you wanted to see or do. This is fine to me as I have been to WDW multiple times over the past few years and know that I will be definately returning and we generally do not do commando touring. IMHO, the dining plan would not be the way to go for anyone who is planning on a lot of park time or does not have a car. The reason I say this is that my experience with WDW transportation is that it consistently takes 1 1/2 to 2x the amount of time to get from one place to another than I think it will. All this said if I get the oppotunity to use the dining plan, I definately would.
