What is the best sit down places to book ps at to get your moneys worth for the myw dining ?? This is my first trip and have booked a few already but need a few more ideas.
thanks Diane

I also want to know where the best places to book reservations are. I have printed out alot of menus and am trying to figure out how to get the most bang for the buck. I think I might try Boma's. Looked good.

What are the ages in your group? And what parks are you planning on visiting?

I ask, because alot of the 'sit-down' restaurants are geared towards different age groups. If you have young children, definitely look at the character breakfasts - I've heard that Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare, and the new Princess Storybook meal at Norway are all very good.

The restaurants at the resorts are usually good - O'Hana's, California Grill, Whispering Canyon, Boma's...these are just a few suggestions. If you're at a park close to one of these resorts, zip on over to have a nice dinner....

Hope this helps alittle...!

Keep in mind that the signature restaurants will cost you 2 credits per person.

Jiko, Flying Fish, California Grill, Hoop-Dee-Do, Mickey's Barbaque, Citricos, Narcoosees, Ahola Dinner, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Brown Derby, Coral Reef, LeCellier are all signature restaurants.

So, in general, do you think that buffets or traditional-service restaurants are the better value with the MYW Dining. I mean, with a buffet, you can choose from anything, but on traditional-service type restaurants with the MYW Dining, you can get an appetizer per person, entree, dessert per person, etc. So, what is the better value?

I think that I am just going to choose a restaurant that we like for table-service without worrying about value. I think that the real value question may lie with the counter service food places instead.

I have made reservations for Cindy's breakfast , chef mickey's , 1900 park fare. I have picked out boma, ohanas , trail end. Is it worth eating at coral reef? I dont like seafood at all is there any other choices??? My daughter is 6.
What characters are crt for dinner?
thanks Diane

Characters are only at CRT for breakfast. Sometimes Cinderella or the Fairy Godmother hang out in the lobby during lunch & dinner, but not in the restaurant. If you don't like seafood, I would not waste 2 credits on Coral Reef. I had steak there one time and it was horrible. LeCellier is good for steaks (also 2 credits).

Of the restaurants on the plan that require only one credit, the two best values are the Concourse Steakhouse and Spoodles. Add up the cost of an appetizer, entree, and dessert, and there is a huge savings using the MYW plan.
