MYW Base Ticket ?

If I were to purchase a 5 day base ticket - no hopping. What would happen if I went to the MK on any given day and decided to go to EPCOT that same night. Would they just take another days admission off my ticket or would they tell me I had to buy another ticket?

They would tell you your ticket does not include hopping. Rather than buying a new 1 day ticket, it would be WAY more cost effective to just add the hopping to your ticket at that point.

A 1 day admission is over $60. The hopping option is a little over $40 (after taxes).

But no - you wouldn't be able to get in without doing something to your ticket.

No you won't be able to do this, here is a good explanation from allears:

No you are not. The tickets are sold and the computer system is based on the number of days you have, not the number of park visits. Once you have used a non-park hopping ticket at any park, the computer system will not let you use it at another park on the same day.""

You would not have to buy another ticket however, you can just add the hopper option to your MYW ticket.

If you want to park hop you need to purchase the park hopping option. If your not sure don't purchase the hopper option in advance but instead just add it on any time if you find you want/need it.
