MYW base ticket clarification?

HI! I have read & read these threads but have not seen this question, so hopefully I didn't miss it. My SIL said she read the info on the base tickets & she understands it to mean that if you buy the base ticket & go to MK at 9 am on (say a Wed morning), you must stay there all day. If your DS & DD are tired midday, you cannot leave & come back later in the day to the same park. Once you leave you are done for that day! I said I could not believe that is how they work? Does anyone know for sure. I know you cannot go to any other parks on that day, but I thought you could come & go to the same park on the same day as many times as you want? Help me so I can inform her (It's their first time w/ DD1, DS3, DS5, DS7 & DD 9--so you see we really don't want to be wrong!!) THanks for these boards-they are the best!!

With a "base" ticket you can get your hand stamped and come back to the same park later in the day.

(With the plus feature, both for Magic Your Way and older hopper passes, if you leave and return to the same water park later in the day you do not consume an additional plus.)
