I see now that they are giving us arcade tokens or a certificate with our Magic Your Way package. Does anyone know how much it is worth? I'm not expecting much, but I would like to know. :)

sorry, I posted this in the wrong place... please move.:upsidedow

They are good for "30 minutes" according to the ones I got in the mail with our package.

It's for 30 minutes as the PP stated. However, you can't use the card on all machines. There is a good selection of machines that do take the card.

it can be used on the machines that don't give out tickets. But understand that once it has been activated it is good for 30 minutes from that time. You can't use 5 mins one day then 10 another. It all has to be used at once.

I have 2 DDs. Is it possible for them to share this card for the 30 minutes? If say, they play games side by side, one activate their game and then the other one start her game? We have already planned a lunch where they can go and play games for a bit - I have cards from last summer with money still on them. Would be nice if they would be able to share and I could save some bucks for hats and shirts.

There is one Arcade Card per room on all Magic Your Way packages this year, 4/3 and FD ones too.

Willowbelle~ from what I have read (and seen reported here) you cannot activate two games at the same time. So they could not do what you are suggesting. I thought so too and someone who had tried said it didn't work.

you can play different games consecutively, but the system keeps track of how much time has been used so it may be hard to divide the time evenly. DD1 may start a game & take 10 minutes to play it...then DD2 swipes another game and loses in only 5 min...and so on-they each had a game, but not the same amount of time-if they're o.k. with that it'll work to share the card. You are allowed to finish a game if you swipe it and time runs out while you're still playing. AS far as what games it works on - no prize ticket games...if the game is just played for points, you're good to go. We had great fun playing pinball games at CR in January with our free card-we thought it was a nice perk on the package

Thanks for explaining it so simply for me :thumbsup2. I don't plan on having DDs spend hours in the arcade. Maybe we'll just go for 30 minutes - that way I can basically BOGO as far as the games go.

We got our magic your way booklet thingy last week in the mail for our July trip. I noticed it was lighter than the one we got in December, and when I opened it there were no luggage tags and no arcade card. I could swear these were both included in the same envelope last time (I know I had them, and I know the arcade card was in there). Is there some reason any of you guys can think of for why these would not be in there this time? Maybe I missed something? The little cutouts for the luggage tags were in there, but not the tags themselves. It is not a big deal these aren't in there, but I'm just confused...Sorry to change the subject, but I thought this kinda fit rather than starting a new thread. :)

for our January 2009 trip - ours was in the with the whole packet - luggage tags too with the arcade card. And it was all a 2009 packet because it had the Celebration motif, including the luggage tags (they were not the YOMD version.) I'd call and ask where they are because seems like they were left out by mistake...they might be giving the arcade card when you check in,but not the luggage tags!

Hmm...yeah, I was thinking that must be what had happened. Thanks! :)
