Mytravel flight changes!

Any one else had this problem?
We just received a letter from airtours telling us that our flight from manchester to sanford has changed so we now have to make a stop at gatwick airport and it will take us an extra 3 hours to get to florida! apparently loads of flights are being changed due to the merge of mytravel and thomas cook. I dont travel well so im worried i was anxious enough without the extra 3 hours and a stop in london ..... oh well, at least i'll hav my family there to look after me

Oh no - i'm so sorry!
Do you know if this is now how these flights will operate? We fly Man to San in August and don't really fancy a stop in London plus an extra three hours!

What a weird routing.
Down to LGW only to come back up to fly to Florida!

I feel sorry for those at Gatwick, Manchester passengers will get the pick of the seats, checking in well before the gatwick pax.

Oh dear. Unless the MAN passagers have to check into the flight when they get to Gatwick. I wonder if plane from MAN is the actual plan that will fly to SAN or just a shuttle to get MAN passagers to London?????

Hapenned to us too,we fly in 4 weeks and supposed to be 10.15 from Man now its 6.15..via Gatwick...

Booked a night at Manchester Hilton too so well peed off as well have to leave there at 2.30 in the morning...

I feel peed of for me and my family really couldnt care less for them in Gatwick/.....

As far as i know its the same plane because we only have the one flight number but i dont know if we get off the plane at london or wether we just wait for the gatwick passengers to board?? We havent realy been given much information.

Yes, it should be the same plane, so you will have to wait onboard for the gatwick passengers (fun when they come on, trying to find luggage spaces!)

Poor you, thats worse than ours! Ours was changed from 9.25 to 6.30 but we phoned up and found that it changed again and now its 7.20... still not good tho.
