Mythos or Emeril's? Advice, please!

My husband and sons all love Emeril, but I am intrigued by Mythos. If you had to choose one or the other, which would it be?

Can we go to Emeril's just for dessert at the end of the evening?

If it matters, my kids are 11, 3 and 6 months (but they are used to being in nice restaurants).

Thanks in advance!

Depending on park hours, Mythos might not be open for dinner. Why not try it for lunch. Their menu is the same for lunch and dinner. I haven't eaten at Emeril's, but I dine out often and Mythos has some of the best food anywhere! Their desserts are also outstanding.

The atmosphere at Mythos is far more exotic than the atmosphere at Emerils. I thought the food was equally good. OUr server at Mythos was excellent. We had a team of servers at Emerils, and they still managed to forget to bring my wine--had to ask 3 times. I would definitely go to Mythos with your family--the children's menu at Emerils is not a typical child's menu. I know that children go there, but the night we were there, only 1 table had children (very well behaved). Dinner was long at Emerils--about 2 1/2 hours (and we aren't slow eaters) My husband loves to watch Emeril, but wasn't as enthralled by the restaurant as I expected. As to cost: our meal at Mythos for 3 was @$50. At Emerils for 2 it was @$150 (including a couple of alcoholic beverages). I loved both places, but Emerils is more of a splurge.

Can I suggest Mama Della's at PBH. Just hop the taxi boat from citywalk to PBH and as you exit the boat it's on the left side of the piazza. It's lively and family all at the same time. The food is wonderful homecooked Italian fare. It's upscale but not up tight. Dress is casual jeans, shorts ect... No tank tops for men and no bathingsuits allowed. You would be inclined for ressies though. It was not pricey either it was $45.00 for me and husband with salads and entrees. Loved it and can't wait to go back. Mythos is different but I can always find something tasty there and it's not exp usually 30 bucks for soup and pizza and drinks for both of us. Using our aaa card for discounts. Emerils will not see anymore of my money. The food was way to complicated and over "done" with sauces all mixed up with each other just seemed to make the food to "busy" for my taste. For me and dh 85.00 and we went for lunch it was the biggest food disappointment of our entire week long trip in July. Have a great trip.
