Am I just a huge science geek or is anyone else just facinated by this show?

My DS Tivo's it all the time...

you're not the only one. They do some pretty cool stuff :thumbsup2

Today while I was watching the back to back episodes I was thinking of making a post on here to see if many others were watching. I just love that show. It would be awesome to work for them!

They are what I would suspect Imagineers are like. Don't have something? That's ok... we'll make it!

We love that show too. Some of the stuff they do on there cracks me up.

:badpc: :badpc: Sorry double post :badpc: :badpc: :badpc: Server is busy :furious:

I love this show. I always like to prove people wrong by using the show. I loved the tip about ginger. It saved me on the teacups!!

They look like kids in a candy store when they get to blow something up.

Me abd DD watch it all the time.

Did anyone see the one about saving gas by driving with the tailgate down? I missed it :(

I saw part of that one. Apparently, it causes less drag to ride with the gate up.

I love Adam and Jamie!

I saw them in the Atlanta airport once and was on the phone with DH and went, "Holy crap! It's Adam and Jamie!" loud enough that they could hear me. They got that Uh-oh, this broad is nuts look their eyes and skedaddled before I could go hunt them down for photos! It was still a thrill for me although no one else even seemed to notice who they were. One man asked, "Who were they?" and when I tried to explain it he just seemed more confused! :rotfl:

I love this show and watch it every chance I get. It's always fun to see some of the urban legends I grew up hearing debunked.

It is like watching a couple of mischievous kids when they get to use the explosives. :teeth:

I really like watching how they solve problems, and I think it's educational for the kids in a very practical, fun, scientific-method based way. Here's a myth/ do we think it might be true/ how can we test it. Then they get pretty creative in the way they build their tests, and it's absolutely fun to watch how excited they get while they're working.

Working? :confused3 :rotfl: Amazing that they get paid for something that looks like so much fun!

They were speakers at the last work conference that I went to with my DH. Our DS LOVES their show. At the conference partner pavilion they were handing out posters. I just missed Adam and Jamie by 10 minutes or I could have gotten the poster autographed. I was a good mom for getting the poster, but I would have moved up to the best mom ever if I would have gotten the autographs!

DH is way too addicted to it and even has the shirt that says "I reject your reality and substitute my own". He doesn't wear it out in public though. DO I have to mention he is an engineer?

I like it but would rather be watching the Food Network!

As Mickeymousesgal Stated it's better with the tailgate up it creates a bubble of tubulance that acts like a dome.

With the tailgate down it created drag and downforce .

I knew it was bad driving with it down because it vibrates the sides and causes stresscracks in the beds .But who knew about the gas.

One of the best shows on TV IMO. Jamie has come up with some amazing stuff for TV. Someone needs to develop an ethernet interface that plugs into brains of people like him, the knowledge is so valuable. He should have lloyds of london insure his brain.
