Mystic Dunes question

Just wondering has anyone got any thoughts on the Mystic Dunes Golf Resort? We have exchanged timeshare for Mystic Dunes.

We're owners there, but have only stayed once a few years ago. It's a very nice resort. Convenient location for Disney. When we stayed they had free breakfast every morning at the pool. Free mini-golf. The rooms are very spacious and nicely furnished. Huge TV.

We were staying one week on an exchange and the second in our owned week. They were great at check-in to rearrange so we could get a ground floor and stay both weeks in the same unit.

Our only complaint was at checkout they tried to charge us for a few phone calls and it took a bit of a discussion because the clerk didn't believe that 866 was a toll free suffix. The lady next to her jumped in quickly to correct her and they removed the charges.

If you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them.

Hi, I work there as ranger/ starter in the winter months...It is a top of the line resort with all the classy upgrades including big TV, tile shower and jacuzzi tub, and the location is excellent for travel to and from Disney without hassles of 192 or I-4...they have several big pools, one new one with water slides, a minigolf course, and the big championship Mystic Dunes course...My only advice is if you have little kids insist on no condo that backs up to the golf course. It is just too easy for kids to wander out and there are golf balls flying everywhere. Especially the north side of hole number 8.

We stayed there in Feb. 06 when it was called "Wyndham Palms".

We had a 2bd on the top floor located in one of the new buildings and very much enjoyed our stay.
