i dont like kristen stewart that much but i have fallen in love with her bag...and on screen twilight boyfriend! ahaha but anyone any ideas where to get this bag? is it desighner, what desighner?

You won't find a Prada bag for under 500 unless it's a small bag, and even then there like.. 300.

It looks like the Prada bag mentioned before. It also looks similar to a Hermes bag but the strap is different.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD! 1200 bucks for a piece of leather?! Jesus thats rediculous. Go to walmart and get the same thing for 30 bucks. Then go to a store that does metal work. Get the inscription or whatever it is for 20 bucks. Attach it to the bag. BAM! Brand new high designer bag for 50 bucks. Just saved 1150 bucks.

Unless I was really rich I wouldn't and couldn't bring myself to spend that on a bag. The most I've spent is close to $300. However, the bags have nice leather and are made very well. They are essentially works of art. You can definitely tell the difference between quality leather and Walmart leather. Starting with the way it smells, looks, and feels.

Haha, I totally understand. My mom doesn't get it either. To me it's not really about looking good. My Coach bag doesn't have logos on it. I just wanted something that would last me a very long time. I'd rather spend the money upfront and have it for years and years rather than spend $20 every 6 months.

I don't spend a lot of money on my clothes because you change sizes as you age. Bags, sunglasses, and sometimes shoes I like to spend a bit more on so they will last me. I try and buy styles that aren't trendy and that will last me.

I think $1200 has to do with the name, the style, the leather, and the craftmanship.

Oh my god! I have the same bag as Kirsten, in the same colour. Difference is mine was £10 from New Look, guess that must be about $20?

It's Prada, one of the best and most well known designers in the world.
It's not ridiculous. The quality is amazing. And designer items are more detailed than non designer things, they put a lot of care into making their products, so they come out much better than something you'd find at Walmart. My mom's had the same Valentino bag for years, she uses it almost everyday and it still looks amazing, there's no loose threads and no scratches or anything.
Also, they're so unique. You won't find that kind of clothes or shoes at Walmart, their shoes won't look anything like Louboutins or Giuseppe Zanotti heels.
It's really hard to make most designer clothes, it's not simple sewing, it takes SO much work, especially all the things you see on the runway, especially haute coutiure some of those dresses take up to 400 hours to make with well over 50 people working on them.

at this point in my life, nothing but a car or rent or tuition/school expenses is worth 1200 dollars. i'm proudly carrying the same walmart purse for the last six months, and its going strong.

I guess if you have extra money to blow on anything, then that's great. But there are a lot more important things in this world than designer bags.
