DCL just told me (one min. ago) that they've had it with Mousesavers putting out incorrect information, no announcment until 11 am.

Are you kidding? Who were you talking to?

Here I thought it would be SO exciting when it happened. We really don't even know if they have truly made the announcement or not. Some say "yes" some say in 30 minutes. Goodness!

it boils down the DCL CMs getting peeved that either (1) fan sites steal their thunder by posting info before the CMs can say anything, or (2) that fans get the info before the CMs actually do.

They DID make the announcement at 10:00 am. We had friends there in front of the podium. Tom McAlpin was there with Captain Tom. Our friends' cell phone was on so the announcement could be heard. We knew it was going to be at 10:00 so they went over to Epcot early this morning. The announcement was made over by Spaceship Earth.
