Hi all,
My parents moved in May to Myrtle Beach, SC (from CT where we are). They are planning on driving and meeting us at WDW for a few days in October. My dad (who can do CT to Myrtle beach in 11hours) is saying that it'll take 10 hrs to get to WDW.....Mapquest says 8.......Anyone out there actually done it and know for sure? They figure they won't make it to Ohana for dinner with us the first night, and I was really looking forward to that........still won't change my ressies, but it would be nice if we all knew they could make it.
Thanks!

I did that drive about 10 years ago and it took about 9 hours. So between 8 and 10 is probably accurate, depending on how fast, how many stops, etc.

We live in Myrtle Beach and it takes us from 8-9 hours depending on breaks. Hope this helps your planning. :sunny:

We are in western NC and did the trip in 9.5 hours so I wouldn't think 10 hours starting in SC not too far from I-95.

Thanks for the responses. My Dad is usually a quick driver, the drive from CT to SC should take almost 13 hrs, and he manages it in about 11, so I'm hoping, SC to WDW only takes 8 or 9 and they make it to dinner :)
