Myrtle Beach, SC

I posted the other day that we may be going to Myrtle Beach, SC to check out the area. We are thinking of looking in the Carolina Forest area. I did receive some replies of where to stay, thank you. Do most of the hotels have indoor pools, I am guessing it might be cold in Feb. when we are going.

Is there anything special we should look at, or just drive around and see if we like the area. It seems great on the computer, but we have never moved out of state and just want to make sure what we should look for.
