Myrtle Beach questions

We will be going to Myrtle Beach in a couple of weeks. My DD's basketball team is going and we've decided to turn the games into a family vacation. I have been researching and reading Trip Advisor forums until my eyes are crossed! Has anyone stayed in Bay View Resort or Bay Watch? So many places are booked already and the prices are not bery budget friendly! Any other places that people love? We're going June 21-25th. Thanks in advance for your help!

We stayed at Bay View this past Dec when my son was running at the USATF Jr Olympic Nationals. Our 2 bedroom condo was clean and well maintained. We had an enjoyable stay. It is right on the ocean. The price we paid was better than any price being offered with a USATF discount for a regular hotel room. We had a kitchen so I cooked a couple meals while there. Staff was friendly. I reccomend it I would stay again.

I can't help you with the resort, but I did want to give you a tip about making your vacation budget-friendly.

SweetJack (similar to Groupon) has just started offering deals in Myrtle Beach. As far as I know, they are the only group discount/deal site that has deals exclusively for Myrtle Beach, so it's definitely worth checking out.

We're going the week of 7/4, and I've been trying to stock up on deals before we leave so we don't end up spending so much OOP when we get there.
