Looking for suggestions for Myrtle Beach -- we have some timeshare points to burn before the end of the year and are thinking of Myrtle Beach for the week after Christmas (Dec 27). We've never been there so thought it might be a fun time to check it out. Temps should be in the 50's-60's which is great!

My in-laws live ocean-front in Florida so visiting the ocean isn't necessarily a draw. We don't golf.

We will be on a budget so we probably won't spend a lot of money eating out. Since we'll be in a condo we can do some cooking ourselves.

Need suggestions on things to do. We like outdoorsy/nature stuff, casual biking, roller coasters, sightseeing.

Thanks!!!

All of the amusement parks and water parks will be closed. I would think some putt putts would be open since it's a holiday, but you might want to call a few and ask. That week is pretty busy, so you definitely won't be alone down there!

The theaters (Carolina Opry, etc) will be running Chrsitmas shows. The Ripley's aquarium should be open. Brookgreen Gardens has a holiday schedule, but it's not available right now according to their website. I know they decorate it w/ lights for Christmas. I don't know if they have any of the hikes and such available, though.
