MyPoints turnaround time????

We are going to WDW 2/24-3/5. If I cash out my 6000+ points, will I get it in time for our trip??? What are my options or am I too late???

You should be fine. Depending on what you order, you can get it in less than a week. I think the longest I've seen something take is 6 weeks, but that is extremely rare....

I did the Mypoints credit card a couple years ago and it worked great. I didn't actually get the card. I printed off the number and took it to TDS and explained to them what Mypoints was and the let me charge the DD to the mypoints card number. Did not have to pay for the card and I got my DD for our trip.

I am planning on doing the same again soon. I just hope mypoints still does the card thing.

I assume you mean "Webcertificate" and not "MyPoints." MyPoints actually has a credit card that you can apply for. Webcertificates go into an account (with Webcertificate) for which you receive a number that can be used "like" a MasterCard anywhere online. You can earn Webbies through MyPoints as well as other reward programs and put them all into the same account. Some people have had luck printing out their WC account number and taking it to the DS to get DD. Some of us just opted to get the plastic card (paid the $6.95 fee) and can use it anywhere online or off without worrying whether they will accept just a printout.

Yes, that's what I am talking about. The webbie. Although I did not see it as an option a couple hours ago. Saw the Canada one. I decided to get a Marriott cheque since we are spending the first night near the Orlando Airport. Staying at the Fairfield Inn at the airport for $50. I will end up spending $0 after I cash in from Mypoints.

Canadians can't get webcertificates any more.... so WDWmom if you are from Canada, that would be why you can't see it as an option to cash out any longer...

I see it there now. Under just about every "Spend Points" category. But I usually just go to Quicklist by Partner and scroll to Webcertificate at the bottom.

For some reason not all the options load on my computer. I was talking with Shelbyjosh on the phone (we are cousins) and what she had on her screen was not what I was seeing. Not sure why that is or even going to try to figure it out. I am not that computer literate. I do see the Canada webbie but none for the US which is where I live.

Please don't rely on the WebCert printout working at TDS. Not all of them will let you do this. I tried it at 2 different stores in my area and was turned away. Neither of them would allow it. As a matter of fact, they told me if any CM allowed someone to charge to a MC number without the card, they would be terminated!! They were not very nice about it. If you choose the WebCert, be sure there is something online that you would like to use it on as a backup option.
