Hi! I received the JC Penney offer to receive 1,000 points for spending $75. My order comes to 73.xx before taxes then 76.xx after taxes. Does this qualify for $75 or must it be before taxes.

I think they only look at the merchandise total. When shopping for points per dollar, points are not earned on shipping and tax, so I would imagine the JCPenney offer would be the same. If you don't receive the points, I would wait 30 days, then email membercare. Mention nothing about the tax, just say "my order totalling $76.xx" and see if they award you the points.

I done this same offer last night and although my order came to over $75, a pop up screen came up immediately saying I had received my 1000 points. Did you get a pop up screen?

Thanks! I chickened out and found another present to order. I did get the pop-up when I ordered.

I dont get the pop screen everytime I go thru mypoints to order something. Wonder why it only pops up sometimes?

I think it only pops up when you do a special get XXX points for buying something. I've never had it pop up when it's just the 2pts/$ offers.
