MyPoints redemption....what are my chances?

I have about 5500 MyPoints and I leave for WDW on April 1....10 weeks from today.

If I redeem now, what are the chances that I will get a $25 Landry's card before we leave?

I know they are running REALLY slow. I am still waiting on the $75 Marriott card that I ordered in the beginning of December. It has been 4 weeks and I still do not have it. I know that it can take up to 6 weeks so I am not sweating it yet. I just want to make sure that 10 weeks is PLENTY.

If I don't get the card in time, I could always save it until our next trip....in 2012!

In my experience - 10 weeks should be plenty of time - you shouldn't have a problem. In the event that it doesn't come - you could probably trade someone who is on their way down for a card you could use at home. I think the last one I cashed out in October took about 3 weeks. That must have been right before the "holiday rush". Good luck! Have a wonderful trip.

In my experience, the Landry cards come pretty quick, around 3-4 weeks.

I am still waiting for Landry's cards that I ordered on 12/16. They did not arrive in time for our trip, have to use them next time. Order today if you want them in time...

I ordered a Landry's Card in October and it took right at 4 weeks to arrive.

I've had pretty good luck with the MyPoints rewards coming fairly quickly, usually in less than 3 weeks, however, I've never ordered a Landry's card. I would think 10 weeks is plenty of time.

I ordered a $50.00 Landry's on Dec 22. I received it yesterday.

I can't give you the exact dates - but I ordered a $50 Landry's in January and already received it. So - three weeks tops. I think all the delays were due to high requests around the holidays. I read the complaints and thought "Self, order now even though we go in May. Just in case." So, I have my card way early!

I just ordered a $25 Landry's on Monday. I am assuming that it will get here in time.

One question: How do I know when the card has been sent? I cashed in for a $75 Marriott card on December 19 and it shows "redeem" next to the transaction. Does that mean it has been sent? I have not received it yet, but it has only been about four weeks. I'm just antsy because that is a card I DEFINITELY need for our trip.

I ordered a Chili's/Macaroni Grill on 12/17 and it still shows as "redeemed". As I recall, redeemed is points spent and "fulfilled" is card mailed. I would guess your Marriott card and my Chili's is not yet in the mail.

I redeemed for an Outback GC on 1/16 and it was fulfilled yesterday

I have never had to wait more then 6 weeks.. I have always had good luck - I would think you are fine....
