Mypoints - Raising redemption points needed on 2/1/03

When I went to cash out for Red Lobster gc at Mypoints, I noticed the following:

NOTICE: Point Levels for the rewards listed below will increase effective February 1, 2003.

I don't know how many other merchants are raising their levels, but looks like it's time to cash out!

I just went and cashed out for a WC and it didn't say anything about the points needed being raised. Hopefully it's only on some rewards and not on everything.

Thankfully, I cashed out for a WebCertificate yesterday. I guess one way to look at it at least they didn't run away with our money -- it'll just take longer to earn it instead.

I`m pretty sure it`s only the red lobster gc`s so,luckly it won`t affect us. We always redeem for gas cards,web certificates and rainforest gc`s.


I figure they will only raise them up to 800 and 1400 points like most of the other redemptions.

I just cashed out for a WC and didn't see anything about those levels going up...

Thanks for the heads-up. Red Lobster is one of favourite places to eat, and when I saw my bonus points, I cashed out for two webbies and 2 Red Lobster GC.!!

I know they raised the points needed one other time (May of 2002?). But it wasn't for everything, just most of the sites. I know that Barnes and Nobles was one of the ones that DIDN'T raise last time. Guess I'll have to go update my spreadsheet!

At least they didn't raise the webbies--still $10 for 1500.
