Can anyone tell me how to figure out whether you get points for purchasing store Gift Cards through a MyPoints merchant?
I know that when I click on Target, a window pops up and states that I do not get points for Target GC purchases.
But what about other merchants like WalMart?
If the pop-up doesn't come up, does that mean I get points for GC purchases as well as regular merchadise?
Can't find anything on MP to help me out.
If someone with actual experience in this type of purchase can help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

It varies - I know you can get points for disneystore.com and kohls.com gift cards.

I tried this site as well as a few others, but I found that I have much better luck with swagbucks. I have used my swagbucks points for southwest gift cards and I have a ton of points that I am saving up for more southwest cards and some shopping! I use it for my search engine, surveys and so on.

I do not understand if you go through MP why would they tell you you cannot get points for buying gc? I mean I only use MP when I do not get % back on my discover card. I have a ton of points pending but am waiting till I get a 50.00 gc. On the other hand I have close to 2000.00 in money from Discover purchases which is much easier to build.

Could be different for everyone but i have gotten points on target gc from mypoints before.....even when it stated that you dont... I have bad luck with mypoints getting credited i always have to email them 30 days later and copy my purchase email, even though i go through the website and have the search bar installed.... But it always works out in the end.
