Hi All,

Happy New Year! It's time to get off my butt and back to rewarding (and exercising, but that's for the WISH board, lol). We're planning on going to Disney for Christmas next year.

So now to MyPoints. After all the Chrismtas shopping I did this year online they owe me a bundle of points. The problem? They're not posting again. They're also not answering my emails. I'm not even getting the typical auto-responder email from them with a tracking number. Sometimes I get through. Right now the oldest item on my list is an order from Zappos shoes from September. Twice they've told me they will credit me, and twice they haven't. I have written a 3rd time with no response.

Barnes & Noble credits right away, as do a few others - I haven't had a problem with David's Cookies, either. Of course it's the big ones that haven't credited. Anyone else having this problem again or is it just me, lol?

Take care!

My $400 Circuit City order didn't credit, but my $30 Lillian Vernon and $10 Marshall Fields ones did.

Reminds me, I need to write them about the Circuit City one. Hopefully they've all just been on a big Holiday vacation and will get back to answering our emails....

I have emailed them three times about three different purchases. Each time they say they'll credit and they don't. The last email I got on 12/30 said they were having technical probs and I should wait 8 business days. They are becoming ridiculous to deal with.

How is MyPoints in regards to DisneyStore.com credits? I made a purchase on 12/26 and have not yet seen the points in my available balance.

It's funny with Disney. I order a lot of gift certificates from them using webcerts. I always go through mypoints. Sometimes they credit, sometimes they don't - and if I question it they tell me they don't credit for gcs - even though there was no disclaimer on it. Lately I haven't had a problem with DS crediting, but I do have an outstanding Disney order right now. Circuit City, Best Buy, (both large purchases), Zappos, and a couple of others haven't credited. Figures.

I just received credit yesterday for my October Disney Store order (after 3, maybe 4 emails). It's getting a bit tough to keep track of what's credited, what emails have and haven't been sent!

What a bummer everyone is having so many problems. I wonder if we will get the extra points they owe for my husband's big Best Buy order from their bonus points deal for December.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having problems. I too have had to send emails for just about every purchase and even after they say they will credit me, they don't. I have 9 outstanding tracking numbers, and that's just ones from Sept and Oct purchases. (Since they added QVC & HSN, I'm in heaven)! Does anyone have a phone number for them - or name/address of president to write and complain to?

has anyone tried this number? It might be useful..

MyPoints - 1-888-262-4528 and ask for Membercare. FAX - 1-888-333-6260

I'm having the same problems!

I have a MyPoints question....
Should they credit points for the total purchase amount?

Usually when I make a purchase they credit for the full amount (including taxes) but I have one membercare rep that keeps telling me they NEVER credit for taxes.
I've always been credited the full amount in the past.... both when I have to email to get the credit or the credit it applied automatically.

I'd love to hear your experiences in this area!

From there site:

There are two types of purchase Point awards:

Bulk Point Awards – you receive one lump sum for the specified transaction. These offers are identified by a blue bar:
Earn 300 Points for purchases of $25 or more.

Points-per-Dollar – you earn 2, 3, 4 or more Points per dollar spent. These offers are identified by a purple bar:
Earn 2 Points per dollar spent.

In both instances, if there is a purchase price:
- Points are awarded for that amount, and not for the applicable sales tax, state or local tax, shipping, handling or any other additional charges.

- Purchases of Gift Cards or Gift Certificates from Points-per-Dollar merchants do not count toward Point awards.

- Some offers have unique requirements and certain purchases may not qualify you to earn Points. Please review offer details carefully.

On a more happier note....I placed an order through them last night with Office Depot, and my 300 points were in my account this morning! Now if I can just get those Circuit City points....I finally emailed them about them and got the canned "we received your message" response. It's a start.

Thanks for the info Eilonwy! All of my online purchases have been on points per $ offers. Prior to my correspondence with one particular membercare rep I was always awarded for the transaction total (including taxes). Oh well....

BTW, Circuit City is the merchant that I have the most problems with as well. I've never had a purchase through their online store credited without multiple emails being sent to MyPoints.

Thanks again for your help! I'm off to check my email and see if there are any new offers!
TTFN!

I have trouble getting MyPoints to credit me for my purchases as well. My recent Barnes and Noble purchase went thru just fine but they haven't credited me for any of my Disney Store purchases in a long time without me emailing them at least once first. I, like a previous poster stated, used to get credit all the time for gift certificates and now when I email them about my credit they tell me they don't credit for gift certificates yet in the same email I inquired about a Yankee candle gift certificate and they said I was entitled to that and did credit me for Yankee candle (it was a much smaller gift certificate than Disney Store :( ). They are really making me quite unhappy.
