mypoints is bugging the carp outta me!

Why are they always so agonizingly slow to pay out? I am ONLY bothering with it right now because I already had a couple thousand points with them, and they pay for shopping with Lands End....otherwise I would bag it and just stick with Sunshine.

I made 2 $200 purchases with Lands End *almost* 30 days ago and still nothing on mypoints. They get so snotty potty with you if you ask the status on anything before those 30 days are up. Ugh. I am just going to get enough for my 2 Rain Forest Cafe gift cards and then I think I am done with them. Anyone else think they are s-l-o-w on crediting for purchases sometimes? I also did one of their advertised signups- signed up for 2 offers which was supposed to be 150 points and now they are arguing that I didn't do it correctly or something . So lame for what equates to not even a dollar.

After using My Points exclusively for several years, I no longer shop with My Points.

I got an email a couple of months ago from My Points. It was one of those "1000 points for shopping with Avon for $40 or more" emails. I shopped. I never got credit. I emailed with proof after 30 days. I was told too bad.
I emailed again with the same proof. I was sent back an email telling me how to shop correctly like I'm a liar. I emailed again. This time I was given the points as pending, but I got an email telling me they would credit "this time" like I tried to pull one over on them. The points were put as pending for another 2 weeks making it almost 50 days since I shopped until I couthe points I earned from that transaction. Yeah, and at least a dozen other people on another board also never got credit. Guess all of us were a bunch of liars.

I can't believe I used to keep a little calendar to note how much I spent, the date, and when to contact My Points. What a waste of time.

Last night I shopped with ebay using Creations Rewards. I shopped 3 times last night on ebay. I got credit for all 3 by this morning. I sent the email confirmations. CR emailed me to let me know they credited. That's awesome.

Last week I shopped for something for my mom using Quick Rewards. Again, QR posted the full amount to my account within 24 hours and even let me know via email it was credited.

I'll still do the 5 point emails with My Points, but that's it. If I get an email from My Points stating I can get XX points for spending XX dollars I don't even bother.

Besides, I normally surf online with the old family computer running ME. If I go on My Points an annoying My Points person pops up to tell me about some deal or other crap. Then my old dinosaur computer freezes.

Nope, I avoid My Points for shopping now.

I hope you get your points you are due. I'm sick of emailing, wasting my time, etc. with My Points.

I did the 1000 points at Avon once and got nothing, so that was it for me. I will do the contests and the paid emails, but nothing else there. I am ready to cash out for something small. I hate to leave the points in there too long as they change the cash outs and all a lot.

I hate to jinx myself, but the last 5 purchases I made through My Points were all credited within 3 days.

My complaint is how long it takes when you cash out for web certificates. I've always cashed out for GCs, but this time I thought I'd try a webbie (before they disppaeared from the site). It's been one month - My Points told me that it takes up to 6 weeks to get an acknowledgement for the webbie.

Mypoints is horrible about crediting with shopping. I just do the paid emails and random contests through them. I get quite a few points just on paid emails alone.

On the plus side, when I cashed out for the Rainforest GC I rec'd it in less then a week! So at least you should get those fast.

ITA Mypoints is horrible about crediting shopping points. But I think I have figured out how to get credit every time..Atleast it has worked for me in the past 6 months..

Before shopping on their site.... I go to mypoints website ...I clear out all cookies, files & clear all history..then I sign in and shop..I have received all my shopping points--including Overstock--which was a pain on getting my credit in the past...I also do this before I do any offers thru the email and it has worked everytime.

Well, after writing them, I got my first lands end to credit. Now for the second one. I also have 150 in other points that need to post in the next two weeks. I do like all their 5 point clicks- I seem to average between 80-100 points a week with those.
