Mypoints & B&N - Never credited

It never fails - Mypoints never seems to credit the B&N orders. The funny thing is I do so much ordering from them each year, it's crazy.

I ordered a set of DVDs for a friend in Japan early last month. I recently sent the confirmation letter to Mypoints, telling them I didn't get the points. Their answer? You have to submit the order confirmation email.

My response - what did you think was attached? Do they even read the mail that they get? I have two other B&N orders to have credited so I am going to do this one at a time.

I had the same problem. After sending the confirmation email 3 times and receiving the same response I called them. Paul was very friendly and send he would credit the points although they could not read the confirmation email I sent 3 times. Maybe try calling instead of email. 1-888-262-4528 for membercare.
 
I'm going to have to try that. After cutting and pasting the email so that they could see it, they said I sent a blank email.
I'm not happy.
I guess I'll call them. Thanks!
 
Why can't MyPoints have a form online like eBates does? I once had to ask about an eBates amount that wasn't added to my account. They have a nice little form that you fill in the name of the store and the order number (or some such information) and then there's a box to paste in the confirmation email info. I think the boxes for the info come up after you choose "Where's my discount?" from a drop-down menu. No problems and I got my discount credited right away.

Well, maybe MyPoints has something like this, but I haven't had to claim any points yet. I will have to try and claim the points from WalMart in a few weeks, so I guess I'll find out then.
 

Have you actually checked your account statement. I hadn't realized mine WAS credited until I had looked to see what had posted for the week and it was posted already. I believe it was the next day.

Hopefully you have already been credited. I know I'll be playing with them soon for my JC Penney order, that I've never had luck with getting posting automatically without several emails.
 
Nope, wasn't credited but after they got back to me a second time to tell me the email was blank, I did get another reply telling me I would be credited.

Here's the best part - I have another B&N order, the big email one, which also wasn't credited.

I did receive points right away for the Disney Store, JC Penney, Best Buy, Buy.com, Fox Store, and WalMart. It's B&N that I always have trouble with.
