Mypoints & AOL?

I was wondering if anyone has done the free trial for 2,000 points offer. I was thinking about it but was wondering if anyone has gotten the 2,000 points without being billed before the 45 days is up?

At the time I did the AOL free trial, it was for 1,000 points. I signed up, waited about 30 days and cancelled, telling AOL I went with DSL. I still got my 1000 points.

I did not get billed from AOL.

Did you wait till the 1000 points were posted before you canceled? Do you see the points as pending after 30 days or within a week of sign-up?
