Mypoints/AOL bonus email

I got a Mypoints Bonus email to get 1000 pts to join AOL. In the email, it says NO credit card will be needed. When I start through the process to join, I get to credit card info. It won't go any further without the credit card info! It's frustrating, because Mypoints said NO credit card needed! UGH! I emailed mypoints, we'll see what they say.

When I signed up I saw this also and pressed the cancel button which is on the bottom left. When I did that I got a message that said you can have AOL bill your phone bill. I did that and did not have to give them my Credit Card or Checking account.
